I'm a 42 year old mostly-fit (head-strong, at least!) mom, wife, and vagina designa heading over to Scotland on my own, to walk the 96 mile West Highland Way (over 7 days). I've booked accommodation along the way (well, the fabulous Julie (from Gemini Walks) booked them for me, and I'm wisely making use of the included inn-to-inn baggage transfer service. I'll be spending 3 full days at the end of the walk in Fort William, and my husband is treating me to a caravan stay in my favourite place ever, Glen Nevis. While there, fingers crossed my knees will carry me up Sgurr a'Mhaim for a day trip, and I'm aiming for Beinn na Lap (remember the scene in Trainspotting?) as an 'easy' day (hahah I'll be dead). My last day in Glen Nevis will be spent lifting Guinness, eating chips, and doing nothing. What a trip it will be :)
